I confuse now…no idea what to do now..don’t know how come all people want to meet me on a Friday..daD called me home for dinner and 2 of my friends asked me out for dinner…what should I do…really no idea…think harder and see where I should go…so fan when people ask me out on the same day…all the place all I want to go but I know I can only choose one place how??? The 1964 Race Riots were a series of riots that took place in Singapore during two separate periods in July and September between Chinese and Malays groups. The first incident occurred on 21 July during a Malay procession that marked Prophet Muhammad's birthday. In total, the violence killed 36 people and injured another 556. About 3,000 people were arrested. The riots are also known as the Prophet Muhammad Birthday Riots, 1964 Racial Riots, and 1964 Sino-Malay Riots. At that time, Singapore was a state in the Federation of Malaysia.
July riots
On 21 July, 1964, about 25,000 Malays gathered at Padang, Singapore to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. After the speeches, the procession went on to Geylang. Along the way, a group that was dispersed was asked to rejoin the procession by a policeman. Instead of obeying the orders, the group attacked the policeman. This incident led to a race riot after the group of Malays attacked Chinese passers-by and spectators. The riots were reported to have started at about 5:00 p.m. between Kallang and Geylang Serai. A curfew was declared at 9.30 p.m. to restore orders, but in the first day of riot, 4 people were killed and 178 injured.After the curfew was lifted at 6 a.m. the next morning, the conflict grew even more tense, and another curfew was imposed - only lifted for short periods for people to buy food. The curfew was completely lifted on 2 August, 11 days after the start of the riots. After the riots, goodwill committees were set up made up of community leaders from the various racial groups. The main job of these leaders was to help restore harmony and peace between the Malays and the Chinese by addressing the concerns of the residents. About 23 people lost their lives and 450 people were injured during the July riots. There was significant damage to property and vehicles. About 2,500 people were arrested, including 600 secret society members and 256 people arrested for possession of dangerous weapons. The rest were arrested for violating the curfew.
Causes
Different reasons have been cited for causing the riots. Malaysia Deputy Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak blamed Indonesian and Communist provocateurs.On the other hand, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and several other foreign observers attributed the riots as the result of agitation by Syed Jaffar Albar and other elements of the ultra-nationalist faction in UMNO. According to the Australian Deputy High Commissoner, W.B. Pritchett:"...there can be no doubt that UMNO was solely responsible for the riots. Its members ran the communal campaign or allowed it to happen."
The riots occurred during the period when the PAP-UMNO relations were severely strained after the People's Action Party challenged the UMNO in Malaysia federal election in March 1964 with the campaign slogan of Malaysian Malaysia.In addition, the involvement of Chinese secret societies in the riots also increased the level of violence.

movIe of the wEek..
dOn't you think that picture is cute..that part of my breafast for the day..and i eating and typing it..that make my lunch for the day too..no choice..neEd to clear my mails..and i did mange to clear alot the other day at home..but it the end the next daY..i aLso saw alot mails..was reaDing my frienDs' friEnds blog aNd found out peopLe breAk up due to some reasoN..i also don't knOw what up..jUst let them be..but not 1 is 2 peopLe break up..that alot..i think i shOuld stop loOking at those peoPle i don't know blOg in caSe i saw thESe thing agaiN...

as usuaL saTurdaY was a bUsy day fOr me..so tired..bUt i ate alot of those "ren sHeng" raw logan, raw " ji zhi"(or what they called that..not very sure) all this mix with waTer anD drink for both daY..thanKs auntie for taking care of aLl of us..eVeryonE haS to drinK a cup as sHe say we wOrk so haRd..anD my sOre waS beTter but now...bAck to square one might be due to the fOod that i ate..i think i can't eat aNymore thiNg that is baD for my throaT...

What is tHis....increase because want the driver to earn more money what about us who take cab often..dOes increase in taXi fees meaN more cab arOund ...i don't think so as when the increase in the bus anD mRt fares i don't seem thAt there is moRe bus or trAin..will it be the same to caB??..dOn't understand why pay more fOr the benefit of the drivers..When i caN't even gEt a caB anD neEd to waIt for quitE a loNfg time befOre i saw a cab aNd i can even reJect by the drivErs because he say he not on the way..wHat does thiS meaN?? wHy do we have to pay morE whEn we on caLl the cab..shouldn't we pay less because this will help the driver to saVe the money on fUel and those that is hired on the roadsiDe shOuld pay mOre as the driverS waste more Fuel and will neEd to charge more..am i right tO saE so??

weLl was still a sIck rAbbit tiLl now..bUt was beTter than sUnday..saw a lot of mails in my inbox today..only a day neVer checK my mail and it was like..well..haN contribute 3 mails within 1 mintues to me..but he send me quite alot of mails..but the size is not big..had problem tryIng to read ah chAi emails due to his brOken eNglish..had beEn drinking honEy water anD now i waS running out of it as i almost finisH the bOtle of it..muSt make more....despite beEn siCk, i still continue to wAtch my dRama..taKe too much drug and maKe me moRe sick..like no use want..if yOU had beEn reAding my paSt entrieS, you will remember thaT i mention one of my fRiend's bOss who want to implement PENALTY if the staff MSN..and he told me that yesterday one of them was ask to go to the boSs's rOom due to IM too much and now they cant surf net anymoRe..so sad...can't stand this kind of boss...stupid...

waS down with the sOre throAt since satUrday but i don't reAlly care..yesTerday morninG was doWn with feVer and cough aNd my eveRytime illNess...flu and baCkache..waited tiLl night then weNt to visit a doctor...was angry abOut the visit as i went to the one nearby and the so called nurse told me that the doctor that i waNted to visit is at the other branch and she say over there is open so i weNt over but it was close..no choiCe i gO back to the one nearby..no choiCe..whEn i enter i give that girl a veRy aNgry look...who aSk heR let me rUn here anD there..my tUrn to go in,the doctor ask wHat wrOng say finish then do the cheCking aLl the stuff anD aSk me to go and wait for ny pill and i request to check the blood peSsure..anD he say is noRmal..so haPpy to heAr that as i though i that my blood peSsure is low agaiN..after whicH weNt oUt and wait for m turn aNd whEN she teLl me wHat each pill is for i aSk what abOut the bodyaChes and she say doctor neveR wriTe aNd ask i want that? i saY yes..aNd she got no choice help me to get..aFter which wEnt to da Bao my meals for the day which is fisH soup with rice but cant eat much..so eat abit then i weNt to take all the drugs..and fall asLeep wHile chatting on the phone the other paRties still feLt so awake but no me...luckily dUe to the drugs that make me faLl asLeEP if not i will havE a haRd time sleEping..i sleEp all the waY till morning. toDay me on ML..that mean that next monday can't on leave also mean that i can't watCh WC finals unless i sleep during the day..

dOn't you think that picture is cute..that part of my breafast for the day..and i eating and typing it..that make my lunch for the day too..no choice..neEd to clear my mails..and i did mange to clear alot the other day at home..but it the end the next daY..i aLso saw alot mails..was reaDing my frienDs' friEnds blog aNd found out peopLe breAk up due to some reasoN..i also don't knOw what up..jUst let them be..but not 1 is 2 peopLe break up..that alot..i think i shOuld stop loOking at those peoPle i don't know blOg in caSe i saw thESe thing agaiN...
